Our programs are only possible through your financial support.  We rely on individual donations, in addition to membership dues, to fund these incredible opportunities.

Since 1993, Black Mountain College Museum + Arts Center has presented 49 exhibitions, created 31 publications and 58 oral histories. We’ve hosted 985+ events, collaborated with over 5,900 other artists and organizations, and had over 168,000+ visitors come through our doors. But, we would not have accomplished any of this without you! Like Black Mountain College, we work together as a community to make these programs happen, and we thank you for being a part of our community!

Learn More About Planned Giving

Planned giving, sometimes referred to as gift planning, may be defined as a method of supporting non-profits and charities that enables donors to make larger gifts than they could make from their income. While some planned gifts provide a life-long income to the donor, others use estate and tax planning techniques to provide for charity and other heirs in ways that maximize the gift and/or minimize its impact on the donor’s estate.

The Black Mountain College Museum + Arts Center is a member and grant-funded 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Your generous contribution to the Museum will support the future publications, exhibitions, and documentaries planned by the Museum. Please consider higher membership categories to provide the Museum with a firm financial footing for its housing and operating expenses. All contributions are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.  There is a 10% discount on any membership level for Seniors, ages 65+.
