Volunteer + Internship Programs

Volunteer

We’re always looking for volunteers! Volunteers help with our two annual special events and are a big part of making these events possible. If you’d like to become a BMCM+AC volunteer, please complete the interest form. If you are specifically interested in volunteering for the {Re}HAPPENING spring event or ReVIEWING fall event, please visit the dedicated {Re}HAPPENING page or ReVIEWING page for more info.

Internships

BMCM+AC currently partners with the UNCA Internship Program to offer funding for UNCA students. You can learn more about the UNCA Internship Program and see application deadlines on their website.

If you’re in search of a project-based internship for course credit or personal enrichment, please submit a resume and cover letter to info@blackmountaincollege.orgAny future paid internship opportunities outside of our UNCA partnership will be announced on this page 2-3 months in advance of the application deadline.

Below you can find examples of past intern projects:

Employment

Our museum is small and our staff even smaller. If you’d like to get involved with the museum, consider becoming a member, volunteering, or pursuing an internship.
