June 30th is the deadline for proposals to present/perform at our annual conference ReVIEWING Black Mountain College scheduled for September 26-28, 2014 here in beautiful Asheville, NC. The theme is “The Writers of Black Mountain College” but any topics related to BMC will be considered. The Keynote Speaker is Vincent Katz, poet, translator, critic, and curator/editor of Black Mountain College: Experiment In Art, an exhibition at the Reina Sofia in Madrid, Spain and the companion book published by MIT Press. Laura Kuhn, Executive Director of the John Cage Trust is the Featured Speaker. ReViewing Black Mountain College 6 is hosted and sponsored by the Black Mountain College Museum + Arts Center and the University of North Carolina Asheville. More info and submission form HERE.
