{Re}HAPPENING

These are directions to the site of the {Re}HAPPENING, an arts event which takes place annually in April:

Directions
From I-240 E, take the exit on the left onto I-40 E toward Statesville. Take exit 59 toward Swannanoa. Turn left onto Patton Cove Rd. Turn right onto US-70 E. Turn left onto Whitson Ave. Turn right onto Old US Hwy 70. Turn left onto Lake Eden Rd. After 1.5 miles, Camp Rockmont will be on the left.
Parking

We highly encourage you to take the shuttle or carpool as parking is limited. Free parking will be available at the Lower Lot of the Asheville Chamber of Commerce (36 Montford Ave), allowing you to kick back and enjoy the ride with Gray Line Trolleys to Lake Eden. Shuttles will run through the entirety of the event. Uber and Lyft are not guaranteed in Black Mountain but are a great option to connect with the Trolley in Downtown AVL.

If you plan on driving or carpooling, visit the 2024 tickets page to purchase a parking pass. All cars must be parked in the athletic field. Follow signs from the Camp Rockmont turnoff, and a volunteer will direct you.

Shuttles

Shuttles will be running from Asheville to Camp Rockmont the day of the event.

2024 Gray Line Trolley Shuttle Schedule

The FREE Shuttle will run between the Asheville Chamber of Commerce/Visitors Center lower lot (36 Montford Avenue in Asheville) and Camp Rockmont. Please allow for a few minutes wait.

Chamber of Commerce Pickup times: 3:00, 4:00, 5:00, 6:00, 7:00pm

Camp Rockmont Return times: 3:30, 4:30, 5:30, 7:00, 9:00, 10:00pm

The last shuttle drops off guests at the Chamber of Commerce at 10:30pm.
