This week we’re busy laying out our new show, Black Mountain College: Shaping Craft + Design.  It has been so exciting to see the pieces come out of boxes, out of storage.

Among many many other things (furniture, ceramics, textiles, paintings, prints, ephemera…), we’ve got two lovely hanging wire sculptures by Ruth Asawa, a gorgeous (and massive) clay fireplace, and a Black Mountain College loom, restored by a local artisan and BMCM+AC member.
