Join us for an evening of poetry with Tracey Schmidt to kick off Asheville Wordfest (find a full schedule of performances at avlwordfest.com)! Schmidt will read her own work, as well as the work of Rumi and Hafiz, with accompaniment from musicians Michael Ivey on guitar, Allen Rhoda on tablas, and Scott Sheerin on flute—plus other surprise musical guests.
