Live on Zoom

PERSPECTIVES+ transforms our PERSPECTIVES Lunchtime Talks into a new way to connect with our BMC community and learn something new in the process.

Join us at 4:30 PM for a talk with Julie Levin Caro, Professor of Art History and Chair of the Department of Art at Warren Wilson College. Caro will be discussing how her experience as a Black Mountain College scholar has served her as an educator during this crisis. She will share lessons she has learned through her research on such BMC educators as Josef and Anni Albers, Jacob Lawrence, Jean Varda, Leo Amino, and Jack Tworkov. Following the talk, we will transition over to a virtual happy hour for a  moderated Q&A discussion.

You will receive an email after registration with Zoom login information. During the talk, please type your questions into the chatbox, and we will then open up the discussion with a moderator, who will invite you to elaborate on your questions one at a time.
